Celebrating the Brass Era on the Roads of Newport & Bristol

Audrain Motorsport is proud to announce the fourth annual Newport–Bristol–Newport Veteran Car Tour, taking place Saturday, May 16 through Sunday, May 17, 2026, with expanded programming across two full days of early motoring celebration. Presented by Broad Arrow Auctions, driven by Hagerty, a leading global collector car auction house, this cherished event will once again bring some of America’s finest brass-era automobiles to the scenic roads of coastal Rhode Island.

Now a signature weekend on the historic motoring calendar, the Audrain Veteran Car Tour has quickly become regarded in the spirit of the famed London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, which began with the Emancipation Run of 1896 celebrating the dawn of motoring freedom in the United Kingdom.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Audrain Veteran Car Tour Weekend in 2026 for what will be a truly meaningful moment for Northeast collector car culture,” said Jakob Greisen, Senior Car Specialist for Broad Arrow Auctions. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to bringing world-class experiences to enthusiasts and collectors of all kinds, celebrating automotive heritage while fostering hobby engagement. We look forward to showcasing exceptional collector cars and connecting with the Tour’s passionate participants this spring.”

A Two-Day Veteran Motoring Experience

For 2026, the Veteran Car Tour expands into a full weekend format, welcoming collectors from across New England and the United States for an immersive celebration of automotive history. “This tour is quickly becoming one of the most meaningful brass-era gatherings in the country,” said Nic Waller, President of the Audrain Group. “To see these extraordinary veteran cars driving through Newport and Bristol is both a tribute to the earliest days of the automobile and a reminder of why Newport remains such a special home for motoring culture.”

Weekend highlights include:

  • A short opening drive on the morning of May 16

  • A special luncheon at the iconic Vanderbilt, Newport’s historic downtown mansion

  • Two days of touring through Newport and Bristol, where history lives and comes to life
